More Than Just Something To Do

For generations, YMCA Summer Camps have provided children with rewarding experiences and a lifetime of memories. Y Camps are more than just something to do… At summer camp, we are committed to providing children with a healthy spirit, mind and body! We create opportunities for kids to build relationships that last a lifetime! It begins with quality leadership that is committed first to the physical and emotional safety of your child, and then is devoted to developing the positive values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in every child.

While promoting healthy lifestyles, programming is built around the interests, needs and comfort of each individual child. To the extent it is possible to do so; children with special needs are integrated into all programs made available to their peers. Programs are designed to challenge and inspire each individual.

Summer Camp helps youth Hop the Gap

Kids and teens need support during summer months,
while they’re away from the enriching activities, organized play, and positive supervision that school provides. Without summertime support, gaps in learning, hunger and safety appear. The YMCA of Dane County helps our local youth navigate these gaps and challenges by providing meaningful programs, like summer camp, that nurture and build mind, body, and spirit.
