The YMCA of Dane County wants you to exercise your options when it comes to Health and Fitness. We offer many classes and activities that fit into any busy schedule, for any age and activity level. We think it is important to get 3 types of exercise:
1. Cardiovascular/Aerobic Exercise - burning body fat, stronger heart, lower blood pressure.
2. Muscle Strength/Endurance Training - stronger muscles, stronger bones, increased metabolism
3. Flexibility Training - maintain range of motion, prevent muscle strain, reduce muscle soreness.
