What is the Strong Kids Campaign?
The Strong Kids Campaign raises funds so that all may participate in the YMCA regardless of their ability to pay and our available resources. Member may make a direct gift to the campaign, volunteer or add to monthly membership dues.


Is funding available at all YMCA of Dane County Centers?
Funding is available at every center of the YMCA of Dane County, Inc. You are welcome to use more than one center for programs and activities.


How long will the funding continue?
Need for funding is reassessed annually depending on the situation. Funded memberships are based on the calendar year.


How will the Funding Assistance amount be determined?
We have a fee scale, based on total household income and number of dependents, which assists in determining the amount of funding you qualify for. We also consider special circumstances such as medical expenses or loss of employment.
