Healthy Living Kids

The positive impact of getting children started early in a more active, healthy lifestyle is dramatic on their future health and related health care costs. All of our afterschool care sites use Healthy Living Kids as a way to engage children in a fun, interactive curriculum which includes healthy living information with an emphasis on physical activity. Healthy Living Kids is held at all 28 of our Y after school programs which serve children ages 5 – 12.

Press Play

Press Play offers a way for Baby Boomers/Empty Nesters to “press the play button” and get re-started in activities they once enjoyed. Boomers re-discover the joys of “playing,” whether it is basketball, volleyball or other activities. Participating in this program helps create a supportive network of friends that foster a sense of belonging and enhance support to initiate and sustain healthy habits at every stage of life. This program is geared towards Empty Nesters approximately 40-65 years of age.
