Youth gymnastics

Tumbling, Turning & Learning

The centuries old sport of gymnastics is a fun and exciting activity that requires strength, flexibility, coordination and more. Our gymnastics programs at the YMCA of Dane County allow youth ages 3-9 to build basic skills and techniques in a fun and supportive environment. Novice gymnasts from Madison, Middleton, Sun Prairie and all of Dane County will find our introductory, and more advanced, courses to be challenging and stimulating, as they provide opportunities to improve strength, balance and control on a variety of apparatus.

As with any of our youth sports, our Gymnastics programming stresses growth and improvement, helping children reach their fullest potential in mind, body and spirit. Not only will youth benefit from advancing their physical skills, but will also be educated about our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. We want all of our young athletes to be provided skills that assist them both in and outside of athletics.
